Let us pray that we will follow Christ faithfully. (pause) God our Father, we give thanks for Jesus’ immeasurable love for us. Fill our hearts with wonder and praise. Through Christ our Lord. Amen. Wednesday Week 16 Ordinary Time 23 July 2025 We Gather A Reading from the Letter of St Paul to the Ephesians (3:14-19) Brothers and sisters: I kneel in prayer to the Father. All things in heaven and on earth receive their life from him. God is wonderful and glorious. I pray that his Spirit will make you become strong followers and that Christ will live in your hearts because of your faith. Stand firm and be deeply rooted in his love. I pray that you and all of God’s people will understand what is called wide or long or high or deep. I want you to know all about Christ’s love, although it is too wonderful to be measured. Then your lives will be filled with all that God is. The Gospel of the Lord. Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ. Because God lovingly cares for all creation we put the needs of the world into God’s hands. For humility and awe at the power of God: (pause) We pray as one. Gracious God, hear our prayer. For a strong and living faith: (pause) We pray as one. Gracious God, hear our prayer. For an appreciation of God’s deep love for us: (pause) We pray as one. Gracious God, hear our prayer. For the conservation of all of God’s creation: (pause) We pray as one. Gracious God, hear our prayer.
