A reading from the holy gospel according to John (3:13-17) Jesus told Nicodemus: "No one has gone up to heaven except the Son of Man, who came down from there. And the Son of Man must be lifted up, just as that metal snake was lifted up by Moses in the desert. Then everyone who has faith in the Son of Man will have eternal life. "God loved the people of this world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who has faith in him will have eternal life and never die. God did not send his Son into the world to condemn its people. He sent him to save them!" The Gospel of the Lord. Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ. Let us pray in the freedom of God’s children. We Gather We Listen Let us turn to God and offer our prayers today. As we listen to some quiet music, pass an item from your prayer table (eg small cross, prayer stone) around the prayer circle. When you receive the item, make a prayer either aloud or in your heart, before you pass it to the person next to you. We Reflect May God bless us and protect us and bring us to eternal life. Amen.
