(pause) God our Father, strengthen us in faith and spirit, and lead us to a future of dignity and peace for all. Through Christ our Lord. Amen. St Paul blesses peace and kindness upon anyone who chooses to spread God’s word. Let us offer that peace and kindness to others too... by joining in singing and dancing to this song, “Give a Little Kindness”. A reading from the letter of St Paul to the Philippians (1:2-6) I pray that God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ will be kind to you and will bless you with peace! Every time I think of you, I thank my God. And whenever I mention you in my prayers, it makes me happy. This is because you have taken part with me in spreading the good news from the first day you heard about it. God is the one who began this good work in you, and I am certain that he won’t stop before it is complete on the day that Christ Jesus returns. The word of the Lord. Thanks be to God.
