You will be wise and know more than anyone who has ever lived or ever will live. You didn't ask to live a long time or to be rich, and you didn't ask for your enemies to be destroyed. All you wanted was to be honest and fair. LET’S RESPOND Rejoicing in God’s care for us, let us pray for the needs of the world. For honesty and fairness in the world: (pause) We pray as one. Gracious God, hear our prayer. For eyes to recognise Christ in other people: (pause) We pray as one. Gracious God, hear our prayer. For an attitude of joy in serving others: (pause) We pray as one.
