Today we remember Saint Josaphat who worked for Christian unity. Let us pray for the day when all will be one. (pause) God of oneness and peace, help us recognise your rich gifts in others and build unity from our differences. Through Christ our Lord. Amen. May God’s peace dwell in our hearts. Amen. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. We Go Forth We Pray Wednesday Saint Josaphat 12 November 2025 We Respond Before Jesus ascended into heaven, he promised his closest followers that they would be able to work wonders in his name. Today’s scripture passage tells the story of when Peter healed a man who was unable to walk and who had been carried to the door of the temple. It was another sign for the people of God’s power. Watch together an animated version of this incredible story called Peter Heals. A reading from the Acts of the Apostles (3:2, 6-8) A man who had been born lame was being carried to the temple door. Each day he was placed beside this door, known as the Beautiful Gate. He sat there and begged from the people who were going in. Peter said, “I don’t have any silver or gold! But I will give you what I do have. In the name of Jesus Christ from Nazareth, get up and start walking.” Peter then took him by the right hand and helped him up. At once the man’s feet and ankles became strong, and he jumped up and started walking. He went with Peter and John into the temple, walking and jumping and praising God. The word of the Lord. Thanks be to God. We Listen 206
