A reading from the holy Gospel according to Luke (2:4-7) Mary was engaged to Joseph and travelled with him to Bethlehem. She was soon going to have a baby, and while they were there, she gave birth to her first-born Son. She dressed him in baby clothes and laid him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn. The Gospel of the Lord. Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ. Let’ Let ss listen to God’s word... Christmas is a very busy time for us in our modern world. To get ready for our celebration of Jesus’ birth, we get busy preparing food, shopping, wrapping presents and gathering with family and friends. Sometimes all these preparations can leave us longing for a few minutes of peace and quiet. Can you imagine how quiet it would have been on the night Jesus was born?. Let’s take a quiet moment now during this busy time to listen to the Christmas carol, Silent Night. You might like to close your eyes as you listen. 17 December 2025 Let’s Reflect...
