Praying Together With Children - 2025

A reading from the holy Gospel according to John (20:24-29) Once when the disciples were together, Jesus came in while the doors were still locked and stood in the middle of the group. He greeted his disciples and said to Thomas, “Put your finger here and look at my hands! Put your hand into my side. Stop doubting and have faith!” Thomas replied, “You are my Lord and my God!” Jesus said, “Thomas, do you have faith because you have seen me? The people who have faith in me without seeing me are the ones who are really blessed!” The Gospel of the Lord. Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ. We remember Marist priest Peter Chanel, missionary and martyr in the Pacific. Let us commend to God the scattered peoples of the Pacific Ocean. (pause) God of the poor and lowly, bring new life and Easter joy to our neighbours who make their home on the islands of the Pacific. Through Christ our Lord. Amen. Monday Saint Peter Chanel 28 April 2025 We Gather We Listen There is a special and joyful word which we didn’t say or sing all through the season of Lent. We were saving this word for Easter. The special word is “Alleluia!” and it is used to give praise to God. Today we will once again sing in celebration... Alleluia, Love is Alive! We Reflect May the love of God guide our minds. Alleluia! Alleluia! May God bless us in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. We Go into the World 64
