Praying Together With Children - 2025

A reading from the book of the prophet Isaiah (40:25-26, 29-31) The Holy God asks, “Who can compare with me? Is anyone my equal?” Look at the stars in the sky. Who created all of these? Who leads them like an army and gives them each a name? The Lord is so strong and mighty that none of the stars are missing. The Lord gives strength to all who are weary. Even young people tire out, then stumble and fall. But all who trust the Lord will find new strength. They will be strong like eagles that soar about on wings. They will walk and run and not feel weary or tired. The word of the Lord Thanks be to God. Let us pray in confident peace and Easter hope. (pause) God of abundance, you bless us with your gifts of creation. Help us to recognise you in the wonders of nature and in the people we meet. Through Christ our Lord. Amen. Tuesday Week 4 Easter 13 May 2025 We Gather We Listen Have you ever looked up at the night sky and marvelled at the vastness of the universe? Close your eyes and imagine a sky full of stars. As you listen to this powerful snippet of film music by Alan Silvestri from the film Cosmos, ask God, the creator of the whole universe, to give you strength to do all you need to do today. We Reflect May the peace of Christ dwell in our hearts. Alleluia! Alleluia! In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. We Go into the World 75
